ESN UP Olomouc is run entirely by students like you. No experience needed, no entrance exam, no scary interview - just a friendly meeting or a chat about what we do and what you're looking for. Whether you want to organise events, help incoming students, work on communications, or just be part of something bigger than your faculty corridor, there's a place for you here.

What it looks like
Day to day
Regular meetings We meet as a section regularly to plan, catch up and make decisions together.
Helping with events You'll help organise and run events - from pub crawls to city trips to orientation week.
Your own projects Got an idea? We encourage members to create their own initiatives and bring new energy to the section.
English is enough Our working language is English - it's what connects us with our international students and with ESN globally.

Common questions
How much time does it take?
That entirely depends on you! You can help out at any event you sign up to, be it three times a week or twice a month.
Do I need to speak Czech?
No need! Although most of our members are Czech, we work hard to be inclusive to our non-Czech friends.
Can I join mid-year?
Yes! We welcome new members throughout the whole year.
Do I need any prior experience?
You don’t need to have any prior experience.
Can international students join as members?
Of course!
What happens at the "friendly chat"?
The “friendly chat” is a meeting we call “newbies meeting”, where you and other fellow newcomers meet with our HR manager, get to know each other, and discuss what you would like to get from being a member.
